March 26 – We will be open for skiing today. A half inch of snow Monday morning, with traces of snow, sleet, and freezing rain following, provides a fresh topcoat over earlier grooming. Morning surface is fast crust, fun for experienced skiers. We expect the surface to soften and slow with temperatures forecast in the 30s today and possible snow showers. On the east side, Lake Trail, and Vasa are open. Older classic tracks on Lake Trail and Vasa are in good condition. On the west side, a short section of Sisu is open for two way skiing. Karhu is open for advanced skiers, lots of good snow on the flats but challenging conditions on downhills. Snowshoe trails open. Food service closed for the season. Online ticket sales are closed for the season, if we are open day passes and rentals may be purchased when you arrive.
